Jennifer Young - MostWantedDeadbeats.com
Jennifer's Story

Ten years ago, mothers and fathers did not have sufficient laws, rights, and enforcement tools to collect child support. Although legislation has been enhanced to help, the process is still fragmented, bureaucratic and essentially flawed. Jennifer Young's personal experience with making the complex child support system work in her favor encouraged her to found MostWantedDeadBeats.com with the simple mission of helping parents streamline the potentially painful process of ensuring their child's welfare. Jennifer Young's story has served as inspiration for countless parents who have bravely embarked on a similar journey to collect delinquent child support. She fought one of the most grueling child support cases documented in this country and prevailed. Years of legal fees, continuances, and lack of progress against an extremely litigious and wealthy "deadbeat" father pushed her to the brink of

bankruptcy. Her battle spanned seven years of sleepless nights and overwhelming stress. Jennifer's job was at risk due to frequently leaving work for court dates, depositions, and burdensome legal discovery demands. She thought about giving up almost every day early in the process. Ultimately, it was the undying love for her son that gave her the strength to overcome seemingly impossible odds. After years of enduring the mishandling of her case by high-powered and high-priced attorneys, Jennifer found herself physically, mentally and financially exhausted. Deeply in debt, Jennifer struck out on her own and was forced to represent herself against some of the most powerful family attorneys in the country that were defending her ex. She took it upon herself to vigorously study applicable law and child support case precedents. Jennifer worked actively with Child Support Services and eventually was inspired to devise what many experts regard as the most creative means of enforcing a judgment ever witnessed in a paternity suit; Jennifer published a website with the exact URL of the fathers name that posted facts about her plight, the case, the status of her unpaid judgment and a picture of the delinquent father.
Naturally, the wealthy deadbeat's response was to immediately sue Jennifer in Federal Court for 'CyberSquating'. Lawyers and law students across the nation watched as the outcome promised to set a critical precedent in federal law. Due to the importance in legal history and precedent, a world class law firm, Sheppard Mullen, agreed to pick up the case on behalf of Jennifer and she prevailed. The potent combination of information posted on the site about the father, along with the submission of incriminating emails and other evidence — as well as help from Child Support Services- enabled Jennifer's enforcement case to be bolstered and resulted in one of the largest enforcement awards on record in California.

Jennifer has been empowered by this victory to take an activist stand on behalf of other parents facing similar enforcement issues.

She is dedicated to change legislation and policy to protect the caretaking parent. Most importantly, she is driven by a passion to empower others with all available tools and tactics that can legally guide and aid the process of moving child support judgment and enforcement issues constantly forward to satisfactory resolution. Jennifer has founded MostWantedDeadbeats.com with the simple mission of serving that purpose and has surrounded herself with an equally passionate and knowledgeable team of experts who share the desire to ensure your own personal victory. Not only have we shared and understand your pain, but Jennifer and MostWantedDeadBeats.com will remain committed to providing you with a support system to alleviate such pain and gain the justice you rightfully deserve.
